Weighing yourself on the scale is easy but not an accurate depiction of body composition.  You may be lean and muscular, yet the scale weight and body mass index (BMI) calculation can indicate obesity because it is simply a mathematical calculation that takes into consideration your height, and weight.  You may be “skinny fat” with low weight and ideal body mass index (BMI) and yet have very little lean body mass. OR you may be mostly lean muscle and “heavy” for your height.
