What is the Studio Lift®

Studio Lift® is an exciting, progressive rejuvenation anti-aging procedure that offers an innovative new form of non-surgical face and body lift. Using tiny threads that reabsorb and dissolve over time, the procedure combines the artistry of PDO (polydioxanone) threading with the rejuvenating power of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).

What is PDO Exactly?

Polydioxanone threading stimulates natural collagen production within your body (a process known as neocollagenesis), enabling the skin to naturally increase its own recuperative abilities. Polydioxanone is a flexible, absorbable polymer, which comes in three different textures all suited to different aesthetic goals. These are known as mono, cog & screw PDO threads. Mono threads, as the name suggests, are single sutures, smooth and create a small ‘lift’, while cog screws are used to stimulate collagen production more powerfully. Screw threads consist of 1-2 threads intertwined, which provide volume.    

PDO threads are super fine, medical-grade, and made of protein, even thinner than a strand of hair. PDO relaxes tendons and muscles, also stimulating neocollagenesis to make your skin look younger and fuller.

What is PRP?

PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is an incredible procedure that allows us to utilize and crystallize the platelet-rich plasma of your own blood in a concentrated serum to improve the quality of your skin by reinjecting the platelet-rich serum into the site that needs it most.  (For non-surgical facelifts, this would involve PRP being injected directly into the areas of the face that require the most attention.) PDO threads are extremely high quality, consisting of the same material used in cardiac surgeries.
